Alfresco style café, overlooking Currumbin beach, The Deck has the perfect position.
Friendly staff organised beautifully by Jill, great coffee and great food make it often difficult to find a seat, although it is worth persevering as this is one of the Gold Coast’s little treasures.
You have to try their Smoothies when you’re there. And the Smoked Salmon bagel thing is brilliant.

2685 Gold Coast Hwy
Broadbeach QLD 4218
(07) 5539 9952
Open daily for lunch and dinner, reservations are recommended and it’s fully licensed.
Not surprisingly it specialises in premium steaks. Slightly more upmarket than the average restaurant – this is somewhere to save for that special occasion.
It Was A Friendly Kicking Out!
There is free parking available under building which you can enter via the Mantra on the Gold Coast Highway, it’s close to everything and the service is very friendly (and I say that as a guy who was kicked out for innocently doing his “I bet I can hold this full cup of coffee on my forehead” trick – successfully I must add – after a wine or 2 too many!).
